This Privacy Policy explains how Amir Anwary ("we", "us", "our", or "Amirthevet") collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with amirthevet.com and the internal analytics tool that connects to our own TikTok account.

1. Who we are — Amirthevet is the personal brand of Amir Anwary, a veterinarian. The data integration is a private, single-user tool used by the site owner to analyse the owner's own TikTok content. It is not a public product and does not onboard other users.

2. Information we collect — When the site owner authorises the application through TikTok Login Kit, we access the following from the owner's own TikTok account via the TikTok Display API:

  • Basic profile (user.info.basic): open ID, display name, avatar — to confirm the correct account is connected.

  • Account statistics (user.info.stats): follower, following, likes, and video counts — to track channel growth.

  • Public video data (video.list): the owner's own public videos and their metrics (views, likes, comments, shares, post time, caption).

We also receive any information you send us by email, and limited standard technical data via basic analytics/hosting logs.

3. How we use information — TikTok data is used solely for the site owner's internal analytics — to understand which of the owner's own content performs best and to plan future content. We do not use it for advertising, profiling other people, or automated decisions affecting others.

4. Storage and security — TikTok data is stored in a private Notion workspace accessible only to the site owner and authorised collaborators. API tokens are stored securely and not shared publicly.

5. Sharing — We do not sell, rent, or trade information. We do not share TikTok data with third parties except the service providers that make the tool work — Notion (storage) and TikTok (source) — or where required by law.

6. Data retention — We retain TikTok-derived analytics for as long as useful for content analysis; the owner may delete it at any time.

7. Revoking access — The account owner can revoke access anytime in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions.

8. Compliance — Our use of TikTok API data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policies, including data-use and retention requirements.

9. Children's privacy — Not directed to children under 13 (or the local minimum age); we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. International users — We are based in South Africa; information may be processed there and where our service providers operate.

11. Your rights — You may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Contact us to make a request.

12. Changes — We may update this policy; the effective date shows the last revision.
